bike breakdown/encyclopedia?
 

hey, i've been looking thru the forums/threads. i have absolutely no knowledge of bicycles other than riding one. is there a thread on the breakdown of a bike - like each part and it's function, definitions of terms, and any other "common" knowledge info? i've seen on other forums(non-bike) a basic intro for new members to read to get acquainted to the subject. if there is a thread and i completely missed it, my apologies. please understand i don't even know which forum to enter! thanks for the help in advance. and hello to everyone!
