New York bike jersey
 

I'm visiting New York for the week, and think a New York bike jersey would be a nice addition to the (already overlarge) collection. Does anyone know anywhere that sells a nice bright jersey with NY type pictures on the front and back. I'm thinking Empire State Building or Statue of Liberty, but there could be other options. And the key is the picture, rather than extensive advertising for the bike shop I bought it at. More demands: nice bright colors, shop that's easily accessible by subway (preferably on Manhattan) and a price that's not too outrageous. Any ideas? Pictures welcome.

i've seen that T-shirt. Being a transplanted New Yorker...I love it.

The Bike New York Jerseys are good, although the 2006 design wasn't my favorite. If you can find the 2003 design (I think it was the 03), IMO that was the best they've come out with. They still had a few at last year's BNY, you could email them and see if there are any left. Maybe look at the other year's designs.

Same problem with the New York Cycle Club jerseys. This year's model http://www.nycc.org/home_stuff.shtml
is fine, but last year's was killer, with a big green Statue of Liberty wearing a red bike helmet http://www.jimgalante.com/jerseys/Rosenthal.jpg.
Wish you could still buy those.

The first one is just what I am looking for, but you have to be a member to order it.

I saw a nice Lady Liberty themed one on Amazon.
