I have about 3000 miles on my STB shoes. The area right behind my little toe, on my right foot was getting sore on a ride. I opened up the shoe and it looks like this whole area of the shoe is very rough. It almost looks worn away. Has any one else seen this?

I imagine that they will wear out just like any other shoe.

In New England we have nine months of winter and three months of damned poor sledding.

Only 3000 miles on the shoe. I would think I would get more wear than that. The left shoe is unaffected. Probably a defective shoe on the right.

Probably a slightly wider foot on the right.
