One of those days.
It has to be one of those days.
All in four miles. Mind you I am in a construction zone take the lane. I told a cyclist guy to get out of the consturction safety zone and take the lane. (he looked in amazement at me/Now on the left of the lane next to the barrels traffic passed with 3 feet or more on the right. ) Passed a quarter mile line of cars waiting for a Red. I yelled at a Ped to get off the traffic lane Green light cross walk up ahead. He was standing there. Stop all my traffic with my arm signal and waited for the oncomming Ambulance to pass. Had a lady miss the left turn lane and now I passed her on the left due to driving on the left. I let her ahead of me at the red light being nice. Since it is a one lane road. Choked traffic and then Used hang signals to let people pass when safer. On divided roads I think bike lanes should be in the center. Cars pass on the right and merge left in to you. In this construction zone I ride to the left and cars pass to the right. I have never seen safer passing in my life. Any thoughts on this bike lane? For th VCs Bike Lane only required for ??mph and under. Wow it is time for a nice bicycle ride. |
Where is Helmet Head when you need him :D ? I know, stupid question.
Why would a cyclist want to ride in the construction zone? Construction zones generally have big nasty sharp pointy things littering the ground. Sounds like quite a day considering the ride was only four miles long  . You're right, time for a nice bicycle ride. East Hill |
