It's kind of a long story... but the short end of it (get it?!
) is that I am the web site developer for https://www.geocities.com/decyclesindiana and I am also a cyclist. I personally hate the spandex look on myself, so I rarely wear spandex. Are the Zoic bike shorts just for women, or are they made for big guys, too? Is there a website about them?

I feel bad about how I reacted now.
It's been a very stressful week for me. One of my friends has Leukemia and is not doing well. I am just so stressed out.
Anyway, as for the Zoic shorts..I got them at Mountain Equipment Co-op in Vancouver. They were pricey but really fit great. They have an outer short and an inner liner with a chamois. Very breathable and what's really cool is the short fabric looks like MTB bike material but actually flexes as you cycle...not sure how to explain it.
But yes, they have these shorts for guys too. You can get them by mail order.
I think they have a website...maybe do a google on zoic shorts ?

I just throw it all in the wash. I've got shorts and stuff thats lasted me for years and still going strong. A good trick is to throw a cup vinegar in with your stuff. Helps get rid of that lingering funk.

Twenty years ago, when I was in grad school, I lost a roommate and friend to leukemia. He was a good guy, gentle and scary smart. His death was a tragedy. I cherish my memories of him. It is because of him that I am on the national bone marrow donor registry.
Treatment has improved in the last 20 years. I hope that medical science can help your friend. I will send up prayers.
