My first time out in a while!
 

Hey guys, first time poster to these boards. I just wanted to say that I just did my first 3 miles (after about 3 years) tonight. I found out that I'm quite out of shape in my legs so I'm working my way up.

I don't have anything spectacular, just a 70's motobecane that was handed down to me and is too small.

Good luck P15. Haven't ridden myself seriously in about 10 years and went out for a few times at the end of March. Went about 16 miles on a modified 2000 Specialized Hardrock. Felt great. My second trip a week later was onlt 10 miles and weather shortened but I was much slower. Good luck to you!

That first ride after a long break is always a combination of exhilaration at the thrill of being back in the saddle, and the pain of knowing that my legs now have to get back up to form.
