Bike Forums - Coming here more and more.....

I have several other interests/hobbies and hang out on quite a few other boards, but it seems like lately I find myself spending less and less time at the other boards and more and more time over here on BF. Seems like no matter what boards you go to these day you find idiots causing trouble and harrassing other members in one way or another. I just really get sick of all that crap. This board seems to have some of the nicest and smartest people around and I really enjoy just reading some of the theads. I mean..... you can tell from the way people post whether they have any sense and it seems there are more educated brains at work here than I see on most of the other boards I frequent. Not that I'm the most highly educated person by any stretch of the imagination, but I am evolved enough to be able to use actual sentences and not get into a pissing match every time someone says something I don't agree with. I don't totally understand some of the techie stuff that some of you get into, but I like reading it and feel like I'm actually learning something instead of just wasting my time senselessly.

And when I ask a stupid question I don't get the usual flaming I would get on some other boards. I actually get answers. Even if nobody really knows the answer I usually get at least a response saying "that's a good question" or "hmmm, I dunno but I'll ask someone that does" or something to that affect.

I'm not one to kiss anyone's @$$, but I AM one to tell you when I don't like something if it's obviously wrong, or to give you a big pat on the back if you did a good job. I think Joe has a good thing goin' on here and I hope he's able to keep it going for a long, long time. And I hope the smart people keep posting, and the moronic trouble makers stay over on those other boards. :D :beer:
