im about to get my first "real" bike
hey guys,
im a college student and i decided i want to start riding again. mainly to get back in shape and to burn up some calories I gain from my "social" activities most nights of the week, im starting to get a beer belly and its not going to happen. I looked around online and read reviews aswell as searching here. My budget is low at $300 so I know that its not going to be a great bike but enough for my needs. I have pretty much narrowed my choices down to the GT Avalanche 3.0 and the TREK 4100. It seems that the TREK is a better bike but I'm going to see what kind of deal I can get at the lbs this week. Otherwise I'll go with the GT. Just out of curiosity how much lower, if any, do bikes usally sell for below MSRP? Thanks guys.
