Question from a semi-newbie

I'm sorry if I asked this once before, but is anyone familiar with the Rocky Mountain brand bike? it appears to be a hybrid but has tires similar to a road bike. I was thinking of taking it for a test drive soon. Thanmks in advance for any advice.
