Terminology: shifter cables

I need to know what are these called.

Cable that goes from front to back into rear der.

Black rubber coating that goes around the cable from shifters to mid frame, and then from where pedals are to rear der.

its called a ......wait for it......shifter cable.
The black coating is a shifter cable housing.
