Who is ready for le Tour?

Every summer about this time, I start getting all excited and start waiting for the anticipated Tour de France. Who else??

I'm actually having a Tour party this saturday, we're going for a morning ride then everyone is coming over in the afternoon to watch the replay and grille out and drink Guinness. I'm out of my mind with anticipation for this race. I'm shelling out cash for cable for the first time in 3 years just so I can have OLN for this thing. I'm consumed and it might not be healthy. Help me! Viva le Tour!!!

Same here, I'm invited to a prologue party on saturday. We'll be bringing a tape of the prologue and we all agree no one is to disclose who the winner is if we do find out before the party. It means no internet or sports tv! It has to be a surprise!

Yep, me too. Stay tuned for news of a "virtual TdF" challenge on bikeforums when I get home this evening!

/* sigh */

I will be spending the first week of Le Tour on a business trip and I doubt the hotel I'll be staying at will have OLN.

Thanks for the offer but I'm having my wife tape it for me. However, a whole week is a long time. I'm not sure I can resist peeking at some results. I wonder if there's some place in Ann Arbor that I can sneak off to and catch replays.

I'm getting butterflies, but because On the same day as the Prologue I am going into my first regional championships! Team Time Trial followed by Road race. Should be good!

Yes, I am ready. But unfortunately I was not selected for any team. I guess I'll just have to watch it on OLN.

I am ready, too. I love hearing Regularguy talk about the TDF every July!

Go, Lance!

I just bought a crystalball at a yard sale and it says an American will win the Tour but it won't be Lance. Seems the Big Mig will sneak up on Lance and stick a tirepump in his spokes to keep him from getting number 5. Heres a picture of this years winner...
