Helmet Chaffing???

Hi, I ride my local mountain trails 6-7 times a week. Lately I've noticed that my chin strap is causing me chafe. Has anyone ever had this problem, and how did you fix it. I have a cheap helmet from my LBS, but it's never given me any problems.

Wash your helmet out under the sink. And make sure that you rinse the straps clean.

Seriously.

That should do it.

Thanks. So the irritation comes from bacteria getting into your pores?
