Diamondback Maravista - OR - Trek 7100?

Hey All,

I am going to be purchasing a new bike soon. I've tried out several at local bike shops in my area. I've got it narrowed down to 2, either the Diamondback Maravista or the Trek 7100. At this point I'm slightly leaning toward the Maravista just because it feels a bit more comfortable to me. However, I haven't taken either of them out for a long haul. So while the Maravista may be comfortable to me after a very breif ride, it may not be as comfortable as the Trek after riding for a couple of hours. I'll be riding on bike trails, roads and a bit off road on dirt trails and such but not really mountain biking.

Before I buy I'm hoping for some input from the knowledable folks here on the forum. I'd like to get some opinions on these two bikes from others that have them please. There aren't many reviews of the Diamondback Maravista that I can find anywhere.

Thanks!

Mike
