been thinking
instead of having to own 6 bicycles. why can.'t i find the all around. this is it. aluminium 7005 frame and forks, slightly raised drop bars with the extra levers, cyclocross tires, longer chainstay, mechanical discs, room and mounting for fenders and racks, suspension seat post. and the gearing how about an 11-34 cassette. and i would like say a 22-36-48 triple. gottta be a triple cause it is all about climbing hills. could tour on this, ride in the winter, lite trails, gravel. everything but full out road riding for speed. where can i find this? any ideas?

The Kona Jake.
Just change out the seat post and the fork for an aluminum one with disc mounts and you are set. It's not like you need disc brakes on the rear...really.

Why don't you build up your own? I imagine that anybody else's "do everything" bike would differ in some way.
