In all honesty, I thought, "It's okay." Really. It's great from a historical point of view, but there's not a whole lot that is inspirational or exciting about it. Much of the action is rather subdued, in part due to the rather bland English narration. For those of us who grew up listening to Liggett's excitable banter, it's rather mellow.
The footage of the race is good, as is the pre- and post- stuff. It gives you a real feel for the dirtiness of the Paris-Roubaix, but even that is tempered without the rain and mud the Spring Classics are known for.
See it if you get the chance, but don't sweat it too much.
