I need a new seat!
I need a new seat ASAP! What do you guys sit on that doesnt leave your *** hurting for days after your ride?
Thanks for all your help! Kev |
Hello tat2dup, have you tried asking this in the MTB forum? Most of us would tell you that a bit of pain is pretty standard for someone new to biking. It can take a few weeks or so to get used to the current saddle.

Welcome tat2dup. How long ya been riding your current saddle? A new rider can take weeks to break into the feel of a saddle under his/her buns. If you don't ride fairly often it can be worse because you butt softens between rides. Best bet is to get out there at least 2-4 times per week.

Bike Seat or Your Seat
Hi,
If it's a road bike and you jsut started riding long distance, it's not the seat. It's your muscles getting in shape! Try riding a few weeks to see how things go. If it's a road bike, you really do not have that much of your weight on the seat. More is on the bars & pedals. |
