A Wiley X question

I just recieved a pair of PT-3's today from Opticsplanet. I'm happy with them as far as the fit and features go, however, lens removal is proving to be difficult. I tried the procedure described on the instruction card, and was unable to get the lens assembly to budge. I called Wiley X customer service and spoke to a lady who gave me a different set of instructions on how to do this. She mentioned that removal will be difficult the first few times. I've been working on this "hands only" for a while, and still can't get the damn things out of the frame. Any advise/ideas on this matter would be greatly appreciated. I'm pretty close to "going tools" on this.
