Eccentric Bikes

I ran across this one and it completely intrigued me; https://www.salsacycles.com/fargoComp09.html

Have you seen anything unusual?

Looks pretty normal to me. What do you think of a Challenge NME?

Looks ok to me
mountain bike frames are useful to convert for commuting or touring
they're solid and tend to have a more upright (comfortable) riding position than a road racer...

Every once in a while, I like to check out this thread: https://www.bikeforums.net/alt-bike-culture/101803-pics-your-alt-bike-s.html

Some seriously cool and unusual bikes in there.

I don't get how that thing steers? I looks like the front wheel moves independently of the arm that the pedals are on (which looks fixed). How does the chain keep aligned when turning? Or what am I missing?

The crank mounting arm turns with the front wheel. That is why it is limited to use on tracks without sharp bends.

The crank mounting arm does NOT turn with the front wheel.

The front wheel turns independent of everything else relying on the chain twisting.

Remember the wheel only turns a very small amount for high speed cornering.

OK, how about an unusual take on a composite frame?
