Jogging baby stroller + bike trailer combo?

Yes, I'm asking for the obvious reason.

I missed the question. I have trouble understanding what people mean to say when they either say the opposite or nothing at all.

Are you asking for a combination bicycle trailer *and* jogging stroller?

Yes! Sorry, I realized on my way out from work that I had meant to post a question. I'm looking for suggestions and opinions on such a combination. I know they exist because I once rode past what looked like one and asked the mom who was pedaling along if that's what it was. If you lived in a NYC apartment and like to both bike and run, you'd understand why we have room for only combo device! Thanks in advance, BF.

You want a Chariot. They're a bit spendy but well worth it. We've put thousands of miles on ours, both as a jogger and trailer. It's super-easy to convert from jogger to trailer, takes 30 seconds tops. And I like the fact that it has a ball and cup hitch that attaches through the rear axle of the bike. So there's no stress on the chainstays like the Burley hitch. And it's almost impossible to tip the trailer even if the bike goes down.

That looks pretty cool, thanks. I'm certainly willing to pony-up the dough for something I expect to use a lot.

Question: do they make one that attaches to seatposts? My folding bike's three-speed rear hub will not work with something that goes through the rear axle. Sure, my full carbon Scott would allow that but something's telling me that the folder will be the primary towing vehicle.

Hmm. Don't know about a seatpost attachment.

Oh, and by the way, CONGRATULATIONS!

Thanks! We went to get a baby shower registry started and when I asked about Chariot strollers the salefolk looked at me like I was some kind of freak. Heh.

In my search for dog trailers I came upon these guys. They are located 20 minutes from my home. You can purchase upgrade kits to convert them to joggers.

Agree with this. I did a bunch of research before getting our Chariot Cougar and it lives up its reputation.

Unfortunately, I don't have a good option for your cruiser.

Here's a better link for you: https://www.chariotcarriers.com/ This has their whole line and info vs what a reseller (REI) posts.

Thanks! If I have to pull the little one with the carbon fiber bike, so be it.
