Have an REI 20% coupon you're not using?
It looks like we will buying two REI bikes for our upcoming journey from Alaska to Argentina. I've got my 20% off coupon that I will use for one of the bikes, but I'm wondering if anybody has a coupon they are not planning to use that they would give to us for the other bike. We would really appreciate it if you don't mind!

Everyone who is a member uses that code.
Have your SO purchase a membership then you will have another 20% off coupon. That is how my wife and I did it when one of my bikes went belly up right after I used my 20% coupon.

I would simply get a membership deal for my husband, but you had to get it by March 15 in order to get the 20% off. We weren't planning on getting two bikes from them, so didn't get it. Now that it looks like we will, we are one coupon short!

go to rei.com
You can go to rei.com and print out a coupon. Or you can just tell them at the checkout that you forgot your coupon and they will just apply the 20% off. You just have to buy each bike as a separate purchase though because the coupon deal is one item per purchase for 20% off. A little bit of a pain, but not if you are saving 20% on a couple new bikes.

It is one 20% off per membership. I used mine on the new Keen bike shoes and my ex-husband's (it pays to be friends) on a dog bike trailer. You need to find someone who hasn't used it AND will give you their membership number. That will probably work on a private message. Good luck! I bought one of my kids new shoes there (adult 9s so muy espensivo) so I would have loved to have had even another!

It's just that REI gives each member 20% off one item - the memdeal code really isn't all the important except that's the code that tells the computer to look and see that member has already used his/her 20% off. I wish we had made this decision eariler so we could have bought a membership for my husband! Unfortunately, we didn't think we would be buying two bikes there - only one.

Hmmm.... I hadn't thought of that! Someone has offered me their number, so I should be good to go.
