Need some help with components

Im looking into getting a new bike for this season and Im not really sure which components I want. I've narrowed it down to 2 options (mostly governed by cost), Campy Centaur or Sram Rival. Could anyone give me some helpful information so that I can make an informed decision as to which is better quality/value? I'd really appreciate it.

My LBS seems to be embracing Sram but certainly not abandoning Shimano or Campy. In a nutshell Sram has been highly competitive in mountain and has now come on to the road scene. They are trying imitate the best traits of the big two. Smooth like Shimano, rebuildable, cables wrapped on the bars, and smaller hoods of Campy to hit the highlights. If I was buying a bike today I would seriously consider Sram even though I have ridden Shimano since 1989 and have gotten good service. A riding buddy purchased a new Scott Addict with Sram and it is working great for him. He had Dura-Ace on his previous bike.
