I used to have a cycling pic of Lance. About 8 and a half months ago, he was replaced with a pic of my grand baby. Sorry Lance. She's just too cute.

I recently built up a computer for my girlfriend, and before she came to pick it up, I was changing the wallpaper around a lot. I finally settled on a shot of Mayo passing Jan on Luz-Ardiden from this year's Tour (I picked it because she thinks Mayo's really cute). Anyway, when it's blown up to 1024x768, the pic becomes a little pixelated, so it's hard to make out faces. When she took it back to school with her, a couple of her friends thought that Jan was me. I thought that was pretty cool.

I have a picture show several of the switchbacks of L'Alpe d'Huez. One of these days I'm going to ride all 21 of 'em.

I have something which I think must be a critical mass ride in New York -- one of my all-time favorite cities and an awful lot of bikes. But sadly I forgot to bookmark it, so I don't dare try anything else in case I end up not liking the new picture and can't get my New York bike ride back. Before that I had the blue marble picture of the earth from space https://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/New..._west_2048.jpg, which made me feel suitably humble about my role in the universe.

My wallpaper is a scale drawing of my current carbon fiber project. For screensaver, I have a collection of pics taken at last year's HPV races at Waterford Hills, through which WindowsXP cycles . Here's my fav from the screensaver collection. (Both are full-screen in real life.)

Mine alternated between a pic of my bike (Specialized Sirrus) and my other bike (the one with the motor - '01 Triumph Tiger) but now it's just these words on marquee:
"Chaos, panic and disorder - my work here is done!"

I have several I use. I have a few of Lance, one of Marco Pantani, several of different bikes and assorted MTB scenes. One of my faves is a shot from the 50's of racers coming around a corner.

I have Pic of Rick Hansen, I figure if he had the balls to do it in a wheelchair, I can do anything I set my mind to. I am looking for a good one of Terry Fox, I figure if I could achieve even a fraction of what he could do I will have no problems. Looking at what these two men have done I realize that I have no right to complain about anything.
