cyclocomputer
As I am using my bike mounted on a indoor trainer I need a computer pickup for the rear wheel. My computer wire won't reach the rear of the bike. So I am looking for a new cyclocomputer. Will a wireless computer work, or any suggestion for a computer with a pickup long enough to reach the rear of the bike.

Cateye Astrale with Cadence. The wheel sensor is on the rear wheel.

I just saw one in the LBS.. I'll see if its still there tomorrow, if I have time... Yahoo! |
Do you know if the astrale 8 has a front or rear speed sensor? I know the old CD100 has a rear sensor. Nashbars catalog (astrale 8) says it has a front speed sensor, their web site says it's a REAR sensor?

New astrale (8?) front, old astrale rear. ;)

They make long wire harnesses for applications like this. I've got one for my Mitty 3 that I use on my commuter bike

The Topeak Panoram has a long wire version for rear wheel sensor on the rear. You could piece together some extra wiring if you wnat to do it on the cheap.
