First Ride-2005 Scott SUB 30

I purchased a 2005 Scott SUB 30 hybrid bike, and took it out for the first ride after a little T-storm. It came with fenders, they are handy in wet, and will leave at least that back one on for now. i only added a saddle bag, and adjusted the handlebars from the previous owner.

Everything is stock, except the fenders. here's my report:

The bike is very responsive, save it being a bit wobbly standing up.
I had not used such thin tires before, and was a little surprised when i skidded sideways while braking. didn't crash though.

all in all it's quick and responsive, and will use it for commuting soon!

also- frame pumps are expensive! i'll have to skip the LBS and go online for one.
