Need help with car rental in USA
 

Does anyone know if there is a car rental company that provides (rents) bike racks?? I did a reservation with hertz and the lady did not even know what I was talking about....

I've never heard of a car rental company having bike racks. Maybe rent an SUV or pickup.

I've seen ads for ski racks on rental cars, but never for bike racks.

Alot of car rental companies over here have Pontiac Vibes, which are the same as Toyota Matrix. They'll hold a bike inside. Sometimes it's hard to get the exact car you want, though.

Enterprise Rent-a-Car has bike racks as an available option. I rent from them often and their service and vehicles have been great.

Better check with the exact Enterprise location, not all keep them stocked.

I second the suggestion of the Pontiac Vibe as a rental, if you can't find a company that rents bike racks with their cars. The Vibe I rented even swallowed my entire Gold Rush recumbent bike, which is over 2 meters long, when the Vibe's front seat was folded down.
