OK now these ones are used! Yuck!

The last time I posted one of these on Craigslist, I did not read it right and did not realize the shorts were actually new. Well these are used! Yuck that is like wearing someone else's underwear. And they want $15 for the shorts to boot, you could probably get a brand new pair for $20-$25 with some careful shopping.

Regarding pricing on craigslist, I've noticed a lot of people don't want to discount their stuff more than 10-15% off what they bought it for, especially electronics which depreciate fast. There are way too many people selling used equipment for prices that are similar to new at amazon or newegg.

You got that right. There is one guy here trying to sell some ancient metal boxes containing "miscellaneous" bicycle parts. If the boxes are ancient then one could reason that the parts are ancient too. He wants $125 for the boxes.

The used shorts are really no different than shopping for clothes at a thrift shop. I don't do it, but won't look down on someone that needs to.

What I think are nothing short of gross are used mattresses being sold.

I guess the fact that we're in some tough times, someone doesn't want to feel like they're giving it away so they want to get as much as they can for the item. I'm the opposite with certain things. If I'm not using it or just want it out of my sight, I'll give a good discount just to move the merchandise. Better than squabling over a few bucks. When I know I'm giving a good price, and the person still tries to talk me down, thats when I move on to the next person who shows interest.

A big difference. In normal clothing, the user's sweaty "boys" aren't usually in close contact with the clothing. This is more in the lines of buying used underwear.
