truck bed racks?

hey, does anyone here know of a good rack that will go in the bed of a pickup.
i dont like roof racks and i also dont like to strap it in the middle with bungee cords or tie downs cuz they take to long to set up. i just need something quick and easy.

Do you already have a rack?

I have an old Enflite rack that used to attach to the hatchback of my VW. I bolted it to an aluminum threshold to keep it stable and I freely move it from my Jeep Cherokee to the back of my Dodge pickup. Just toss it in, clip in the bikes and go. They rarely move.

I simply bolted down 4 front fork mount's to the bed of my S10. I havent had the need to remove them yet, but cant imagine it would take more then 10 minutes to do so.

I made up a bar for my old Ranger that has a fork mount and a wheel mount, got cheap cause they were dropping that line of roof racks. Bar goes where you put 2x6s to carry plywood so bike is almost leval.
Slick to set your bike in the back, lock the fork clamp and go.

I put a delta bike hitch: http://www.gearshark.com/cgi-bin/s/s...%26estoreid%3D

and a wheel hitch: http://www.nashbar.com/profile.cfm?c...ype=&estoreid=

on a piece of 2x4 pressure treated lumber. It fits in the notches of my bed liner. I can pull the whole thing out in about 15 seconds.

I just took a bike mount like this one: Nashbar bike mount and bolted it to a 1x6 synthetic deck board. The board is heavy enough that the bike doesn't go anywhere. I usually bunge cord the bike too, just in case, but not really needed.

I use some similar to those too. I bolted them to a board and then bolted the board in my bed. I also bougt 3 of the wheel carriers and mounted them to the board for the front wheels. Works great.

Here's a pic of my rack. It will hold 3 bikes and we usually get everything mounted and leave it in the shop the night before a big ride, then slide the whole mess in the back of the pickup when we're ready to go.

I own a VW vanagon and am looking for a super cheap rack that might be able to be bolted to the front. I have seen these on other cars, but when I go looking I only find expensive Thule or other brand ones.

So, basically I am looking for a just two arms with some dips to hold the bikes and this unit attached to some large upside down U piece to be bolted to the front bumper.

Does anyone know where to get this? Or where to get the parts?

Thanks!!
