Pitlock Skewers, where to get them?
I can't seem to find any place to get Pitlock skewers in the U.S... I searched, but couldn't find the info I needed.
well.. I did find urbanbiketech.com with a google search, but can't find any reviews about them, and I don't order from unknown sites, plus the shipping is ~$14, which seems a little excessive (i'm guessing because they're in canada?)
Anybody know of any other places to get Pitlocks? Online or L.A. area.

I can't ever get through on the phone to Peter White, and emails don't seem to get returned. Guess they don't want my business. Ordered mine from Urbanbiketech - who is a member of these forums. His skewers plus shipping are cheaper than Peter White, to boot. White charges $106.50 for the skewers alone (that I wanted). I got the whole package (shipping included) from Urbanbiketech for $86.

Yes. When you check out on www.urbanbiketech.com, you're asked to select your skewer length. 135mm fits in the standard size for the rear and can be ordered as the "Joker" length (200mm cut-to-size) in the front.
The skewers are great products, along with the steer tube Pitlock "Ahead" product. The service from urbanbiketech is also great.
One caveat: If you have a seat tube that takes a 30mm seat post clamp, find a properly designed seat post clamp (with parallel outer surfaces where the locking seat post skewer will contact) before buying the locking seat post clamp skewer. Pitlock does not make a size 30mm seat post clamp -- and I've been unable to find one anywhere, nor have three LBS. The Pitlock company mothership in Germany also told me they don't make one or know where to get one.
If somebody has a line on one -- a 30mm seat post clamp with parallel outer surfaces -- I'd much appreciate hearing about it.
