Saw Something Funny Today...

A car is stopped at a red light. Two cyclists roll up, both on the passenger side. Instead of putting a foot down, they decide it`s much more convenient to lean against the car by resting their hands on the roof. Driver asks that they not do this. They don`t listen. Driver jumps forward, cyclists tumble over. Two clipped in idiots squirming on the ground. Beautiful.

The dust clears. One cyclist calls a cop. Cop shows up, gives enraged cyclist a`well, what were you thinking?` speech. He also tells the driver what she did wasn`t exactly safe. No tickets are issued. The driver leaves on her way. The cyclists get back on ther bikes, cursing the unfairness of it all.

The cop was right , it was a dangerous thing for the driver to do, but even as a very car light person I might just do the same of worse if someone ignored my request to take thier hands off my car. And my car(van) has been flipped, crashed into things and in general has a lot of rust on it.

The other day I was on a bike that I had just put new yellow cloth tape on, and someone tried to rest a dirty flower pot on the bars while I was stopped and talking to her. my reaction made the pot fall and break.

Sounds like a couple of idiots. And yeah, what the driver did wasn't safe but I can sure understand it.

I would have done it too! :-) . I love my car; I ride her hard, I like her dirty, and clean; I don't need other people touching her.

Here's a good youtube video:
