Garmin nuvi 255w GPS bicycle mount

I have been looking for way to mount my new Garmin nuvi 255w on my bicycle. Garmin does make bicycle mounts for the nuvi series but apparently not for the w/wide style.

There seem to be some after market/3rd party ones on Ebay but it is hard to determine how effective they might be (or in some cases even if it fits my GPS).

Any comments on an alternative or even on GPS usage on a bike in general?

Go to
They have a cradle for use with the wide screen Nuvi
You can pick how you want to mount it to the bar - ones shown on search give it an arm for vibration.
I prefer this one: Rap274U
Keeps it closer to bar.
