Gregs Site Version 1 ready for action
My very basic first site is ready to view, lacking in real content at the moment. I've used HoTMetaL Pro 4 - because I'm a real novice.
http://members.tripod.co.uk/GregNeary Sorry about the small Tripod Pop-up ad. |
Hey, that's a good start! :) Beautiful pics! :D
|
Great pics Campag! Did you use a digital camera, or scan them in?
|
I can't get the page to display
|
Great pics  and a great start.
Maybe I'll set up a web page one of these days. |
I've tried using two different browsers and your photos are not there. Did you perhaps change the file names or put them into another folder on your site? If the image naming is not exactly correct they will not display.
Looking forward to seeing your pics. I've hit 58mph on a local hill too. Scary but very invigorating;) |
Pics for Horseshoe Pass wouldn't open, but the Lake District did. Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful. Thank you!
I've been dreaming of touring that area for a long time. Please keep your pics coming. |
Greg,
Way to go! I keep thinking about setting up a site, but you have done it! I will try to describe what I see in order to help you diagnose. After your paragraph describing the descent I see 3 boxes with "Short description of photo". Then your description of the Lakes District followed by three beautiful photographs. I am using Internet Explorer 5.5. Hope this helps. Regards, Raymond |
Greg, the lake district shots are great but I want to see Cymru :)

Congratulations,
You have the makings of a really nice site. Would you mind if I said that I detest the typeface, I find it overbearing. The Photos are really impressive. There is a valley in Val d'Isère in the French Alps which resembles one of yours. Is this Wales??? I have spent my youth in Ireland and have never set foot in Wales, Hollyhead excluded. I must see more of this part of the planet, it's really beautiful. Keep up the good work, sorry for the typeface and best wishes for the New Year. R |
Just beautiful! No wonder I love the UK so much. [So don't ask why I live in the Netherlands now, and will be moving permanently to France late this year. ]
My cycling scenes are nowhere near as nice as these, but you can find them here if you want to take a look (you can ignore the rest if you like): www.masong4.demon.nl Cheers...Gary |
Thanks friends. All comments have been taken in and I will see what I can do.
