Extra Large Mirrors ...

Does anyone have extra large mirrors on their bicycle? I've tried a variety of the usual bicycle mirrors, and cannot see the cars until it's too late. So, I need extra large mirrors ...

Where would I find the extra large mirrors?

I don't think mirrors that attach to a helmet or glasses would work for me, because I have a serious problem with my eyes watering, sometimes nearly nonstop. If I have extra large mirrors, I should be able to still see the traffic behind me.

How large is extra large?

Try motorcycle mirrors, should be able to put them on your handlebar with a little shimming.

Do what I did. Install a pair of scooter mirrors with a "P" clip on your bike. I got mine from e-bay
for $14 the pair!!:thumb:

I added a new mirror yesterday!

It has a 9 inch arm.

The name brand is "SUNLITE".

I just Googled it:

It must be new. When I click "mirrors", it says "coming soon".

I like this one for large field of view and to see drafting riders directly behind me. This is good even if you have other mirrors.

I need long arms for the mirrors, probably at least 9 inches, and a mirror size of about 4x6 inches.

I find that the tiny mirrors that stick to the inside of your glasses give a much larger image than any bar mount one I've ever used. The closeness to the eye more than compensates for the small size.

Then Nightshade's suggestion of scooter mirrors are probably your best bet.
