best cheap bibs?
 

hammer has apparently stopped selling bibs and the competitive cyclist ones aren't on sale. thanks to some sort of freak washing machine or dog accident i need some new shorts (mine now have holes in them).

so. where should i look? i'm wanting some of the quality level of those sold by competitive cyclist.

are these any good?

FWIW, I like Performance Elite bibs

ebay.....that's where I've picked up some great cheap bibs. You might be able to sneak on for under $30. I bought some Domino bibs (leather incorporated to prevent road rash). They fit awesome and the chamois was not too thick and not too thin

When they are in stock, the hammer nutrition voler bibs a mile.

I contacted hammer to find out if they quit selling them since I might want some more shorts myself soon. Apparently they're just out at the moment and have a new style coming in early Feb.
