Hey rtay, it's been a couple of weeks. Have you adjusted to the 56cm or still wishing for a 54cm?

I don't think so; I wouldn't mess around with back issues. Adjust the bike to be more comfortable, or ride a different bike.

The thing is, back injuries can take years to fully heal, even just if it was a "strain" type injury to begin with. Its probably a simple fit issue, so best to let an lbs figure it out, and soon.

Hey everyone - I'm back. The very good news is.... I've adjusted to the 56cm and lovin it, lovin it, lovin it. I flipped the stem for 2 weeks and was riding it very comfortably... now I've shortened the stem a little and flipped it down again. So its a 56cm seat tube (56.3cm top tube) now with a flipped down 90mm stem with 2x1cm spacers and now I'm feeling like I need to got back to the 100mm stem and take one spacer off.
