Upper back problems
Advice please for a novice...
My upper back seems to ache after riding.. I am in good shape but only started riding around X-MAS time... I have very long legs for an average size torso.. I stretch before and after riding. I have aero bars on my bike. Someone mentioned I should try and raise my handle bars.. Let me know what if you feel this will help.. |
Are ytou using the aero bars a bunch? You may need to move the seat forward and/or tip it down a bit. Raising the handlebar or a shorter stem may also help. I would suggest finding a shop that can provide you with a quality fit to help get your position right as you may even have the wrong frame for your build.

Since you just started around Christmas, it may be that your bars are too low. If the top of the bars are more than a couple cm's below the top of your saddle, you might try raising your bar.
And keep stretching. 55/Rad |
