Cannondale flat handlebars

I bought a Bad Boy Disc. It has a rather wide, raised handlebar. I'd like something less wide and flat like the singlespeed bad boy comes with. see below.
I've tried several bike stores, but neither does anybody carry this nor can they order it.
Any clue where I could get one from?

That is just a flat bar but even they come with various sweeps to the bars.

Don't know what shops you are going to but any "Good" bike shop will carry these. Just find someone that deals with MTB's up to Race level bikes- or a Cannondale Dealer could order them for you.

Rright now I have a 22.5 inches wide bar. That feels too wide.
What's a commond width to look for when shopping for a new bar?

Can't you just move the levers and grips a little towards the center and trim the ends?

+1. I'm considering doing this to my bars, cause they seem extremely wide.

That's what I did with my Trek 7.7FX. The bars were uncomfortably wide, so I moved everything closer to the center and cut 2cm from each side. Took about 10 minutes with a hack saw, then 5 minutes with a metal file to smooth the edges. The cut is clean, it looks good, and the bars feel much better now.

Might be better to advise people to move the levers and grips - test ride - then when you are happy, cut the bar off ?

I do a much neater job using a pipe cutter than a hack saw.

Before swapping over to moustache bars, I cut down some Easton EA70 bars with a chop saw and a metal cut off wheel. Worked great.
