Ok, it's called 'The Man Who Cycled The World"

"The inside story of Mark Beaumont's extraordinary solo attempt to smash the Guinness World Record for cycling around the world. In this leg, Mark does battle with the elements - the monsoon rains of Thailand and the scorching heat of Australia - while coping with the physical and mental effects of his epic journey.Crossing the Outback, bad calluses, chronic saddle sores sores and deadly spiders threaten to end his journey when he is barely halfway round."

"BBC Scotland documented his journey in The Man Who Cycled the World, a four-part series following Mark's adventures. The series is due to be published on DVD, along with a book about the journey, in the spring of 2009"

It might be available to watch online from the BBC ?

Or downloadable somewhere else ?

Mark is in our cycling club and spoke at our last get-together. He's a really nice chap and modest with it too. He cycled across Scotland at the age of twelve and did the Lands End to John of Groats when he was fifteen.
His next adventure is to row across the Atlantic I'm told.
