cannondale 3.0 campagnolo auction ending in 50 min. Advice needed :)
 

I want to know what everyone thinks. This would be my first road bike and it needs a bit of work.

I've measured the tube length and it would me perfectly (5'11). It's older and needs a bit of work. Is it a bad idea to purchase this? It seems to have good components and would fit my budget, despite being older

I saw that auction. From what I understand the 3.0 has a famously harsh ride. I was considering buying it for the components and reselling the frame--I have a frame I need to set up--or doing an inexpensive SS conversion and selling that, but the bidding is past the point where that makes sense.

"Pas the point where it makes sense" as in it's too expensive and not worth it? :P

Yup. At least for that purpose. Especially after shipping.
