want to start cycling, got an offer on craigslist, deal?
I bought a specialized hardrock a while ago, and turn out its too big for me, so I sold it with $100 profit.
Now I want to start again, and I got this offer on craigslist for $150cad
I rode the hardrock for a week or so, and figured that I dont need any suspension.
I mainly ride in parks, and on fire roads, no jumps and drops.
Should I get this miele and maybe put on cyclocross wheel / tyres?

That is a road bike. It rides on the road. It's likely you won't be able to turn it into a franken-cyclocross bike.
It looks like a nice road bike though. Is it your size?

If you go look at the bike, check tire clearances. If that bike can support larger tires you might be able to take it off road, if the tire size is limited you might pass until you can find another MTB in your size.

I went to my LBS today, saw a KHS urban X
https://khsbicycles.com/06_urban_x_09.htm
is it any good?
i.e. parks with unpaved road, with grass and leaves e.t.c.
