extreme bicycle makeover

so what do ya think? i got the frame painted, and new forks, wheelset, tires, cables and housing, stem, handlebars, headset, grips, barends, brake levers, brake arms, seatpost, bottle cages, and maybe somethings i've forgotten.

it rides so much smoother and better now, especially on dirt roads. it's lighter, too. not too much of an investment, free paintjob, lots of parts for christmas, and some parts i swapped from other bikes. the carbon fiber seatpost and handlebars make a huuuge difference when riding.

parts aside, i think it looks a thousand times better now. i love the frame color, it matches the green of the vermont license plates and has some gold flake in it for bling. the old color was some kind of metallic beige, yuck.

Nice job!

I love doing projects like that. I think that you have greatly improved the bike. I love the simple and elegant paint job.
