Only in Florida

Do you get a flat from a shark’s tooth, and 60 miles inland at that. Reminds me of the goatheads we had in New Mexico. Been lucky for a while, been about 2000 miles since the last flat.

Where are you finding a sharks tooth 60 miles inland? I ride on some of the many paved trails in FL and have a flat about every 3-4 years.
Stop by the Southeast Regional subforum and say hello to the locals. Lots of Florida folks on here.

By Gainesville. Hog town creek has a lot in there that get washed out when we get a heavier rain. Will have to stop in to SER forum.

Oh god. Goatsheads. I pulled 15 out of my tire after making an ill-advised U-turn on a patch of dirt this weekend. Luckily, I pulled them out IMMEDIATELY.

Hate those

Sharks teeth and fish hooks are Florida’s favorite bike tire destroyers

On the same stretch of Agoura Rd. (SoCal) one friend got a chicken (we think) bone stuck in his tire, and a lady friend a few years earlier hit something and ended up with a 2 inch glass shard stuck in her calf just above her sock top. Lots if wierd stuff out there, be careful.

Apparently at one time it was ocean I guess, kinda like the limestone deposits in the Southwest which are normally found in sea beds. Sharks tooth hunting is kind of a thing with some folk here.

1,2 3,4,or 5? Chainsaws, Hasselhoff fighting sharks in space, stuff falling from space, sharks getting sucked up by tornadoes, and other "good" scenes. Am I the only one that has seen them all?

Sorry, I lost track after 3; my bad.

PS They're AWESOME. They're blatantly unrealistic (there aren't that many sharks in the world) and obviously just out to have some fun with their $14.75 budget.

Tara Reid gets her arm bit off by a shark, one of the fake arms is a small chainsaw, awesome?
