Need help determinig what type of frame I have.

how do I determine the type of frame I have? It looks vintage, never had gears, kinda heavy, and its has a real old crank set. Im trying to get some pics up, I know that will help

Pics should help out in identifying what you got. If you got them, look at the wheels and see if you can find the size, may be on the side of the tire. If the wheels are 26x1-3\8, then it could be really old. If you can, measure the seat post diameter, this may help determine what kind of tubing is on the frame.
