Westport Adult Folding Tricycle

I've been doing some research for other adult tricycles (3-wheel bikes) for less than $300 and I found this:

Westport Adult Folding Tricycle

Has anyone ridden one of the Westport tricycle?

As a visually impaired, I really don't care for the looks (quality-wise) and I couldn't stand balancing a 2-wheel bike, even with lots of practice. I'd rather be concentrating on looking out for drivers and visual cues (note that I'm hearing impaired, but can hear just fine).

When I first look for tricycles, I started looking at Schwinn Meridian One-Speed Adult Tricycle at for $250, I once need a folding bike for storing in a storage room of an apartment that I've scheduled to move in August (can't give specific date). So for $50 more, I looked at Trifecta Adult Folding Bike and I found what I wanted. However, even if I do want it for Christmas from my parent, I found a Westport Adult Folding Tricycle through Thus, I get a better deal through Folding bikes are useful when carrying up the stairs to an apartment (I'll be living upstairs since I have an antenna for watching OTA digital TV with my TV tuner and it helps to get better reception than with downstairs).

So, what do you think about this tricycle? Are there any members in here who ride an adult tricycle?

Don't know if you will have much luck finding trike riders on this site. Maybe recumbent trikes but not the trikes you are looking for.

The one you linked to is going to weight a ton especially at the price point mentioned, so I wouldn't be planning on carrying it up any stairs.

Hopefully someone else can give a little more insight...
