Cannondale Frame
 
there is a Cannondale CAAD8 frame set on Craig's list that I am thinking of buying. Does anyone on here have any experience with this frame set.

I want to build a NICE road bike. I can use the components (shimano 105 mostly) from my present ride. Your comments would be most appreciated.

It's only the second best aluminum frame ever made in the US.

Well, maybe that's overstating it a bit, but not by much. I'd have to be majorly impressed by another bike before moving on from my CAAD8.

Not overstated at all, it's second only to the CAAD9 :thumb:

...and they make an awesome ss/fg also (just have to build my new rear wheel with an ENO eccentric hub)

I had an 07 and loved it. It was my first road bike. I couldnt believe how light it was or nibble. I ddint like the wheels or seat but I think that is personal preference.
