Cycling inspired Tattoos

I'm getting a tattoo in October. Inspired by Roody's userpicture on BF I'm getting the Chainring (or is it a Sprocket?) with the heart in the centre. It will be on my left shoulder blade.

Do you have a cycling inspired Tat? If so, please show and tell

Well tattooed but no bike related ones personally yet. I have seen a few on other local riders though.

I get one of a chainring on the inside of my right calf on nearly every ride.

Wait...

That's not supposed to happen?

I find 99% of all tattoos to be idiotic looking. Piercings on the other hand...

I just want the one so hopefully it wont be too idiotic looking. No more piercings for me, they always get infected.

That is so wierd, I was just thinking yesterday of posting the same question. I have four tattoo's at the moment, no bikes yet. But, I'm designing one based on the old fashioned bikes with the giant wheel in the front and the little wheel in the back.

I say yes, because the newest fad is for white girls to get white ink tattoos. Most artists think they're foolish, since you can't really see white ink on skin, all you see is the scar tissue.

I would only ever get a Star Trek tat...of an insignia probably.

I have ten piercings, 8 ear lobe piercings, a navel piercing and a helix piercing.

Hey Roody! yah got a Stalker!

Personally don't have a love for tats or any kind of body jewelery, but have been considering a Stainless Skull Cap, I'm forever bashing my head low hanging obstructions.

The only tattoos I have ever had are temporary ones ... when I do international events, I put temporary Canadian flag tattoos on my calves and sides of my thighs.

I have absolutely no desire to get a permanent tattoo done.

I never really wanted one before either until I saw ROOOODDYYSS picture though I do like them when they are tastefully done on other people

Chainring tattoo project.
http://www.blackbirdsf.org/chainwheels/

None of my business but my advice on tattoos and piercings is ... don't do it.

IMO the only thing that looks worse than a tattoo on a person is a tattoo on a 80 yo + person.

A few years back in college I met a roadie (as in for a band) that had a tat on the inside of his right calf. One of the first things out, when we started unloading the truck, was a good quality mtb and thats when I realized what it was. The guy said he always came back from his rides with a chainring mark so why not ink it on.

Being a vehicular cyclist, one can't be too careful about where you stop.
I got tagged a year or so ago.

and this one will get finished off with a chainring sunrise/set behind the bird and somemore background.

You have plenty of room for more piercings. Get to it!
