Cannondale Quick 5 Feminine

I am thinking of getting the Cannondale Quick 5 Feminine ($399) in the petite size (13).

https://www.cannondale.com/bikes/08/c...del-9QRW5.html

Does anyone have any reviews for it? I am 5'0, 103 lbs, live in NYC. Probably just using the bike for going up and down the Westside bike path and around the city. Maybe joining a few bike tours/races that are a maximum of ~30 miles. Other options I'm considering are the:

Trek 1.2 WSD ($769)
https://www.trekbikes.com/women/wsd_p...08/road/12wsd/

Trek 7.2 FX WSD ($459)
https://www.trekbikes.com/women/wsd_p..._path/72fxwsd/

Cannondale Road Warrior 4 Feminine ($599)
https://www.cannondale.com/bikes/08/c...del-8HRW4.html

Giant FCR 3 W ($520)
https://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-US/...en/1254/29455/

Specialized Vita ($590)
https://www.specialized.com/bc/SBCBkModel.jsp?spid=34180

As you can probably tell, I'm still not sure if I should get a road bike or a hybrid. I had a mountain bike before and it was just annoying how it was so slow. I would also prefer to have a bike with neutral solid colors like black, white, etc. as opposed to girly colors like light blue, light pink, etc. Thanks!

The whole "women's bike" thing is marketing. If a man's bike fits you, ride a man's bike.

I would get something with drops.

I would not fit a 5'0" woman onto any 700c bike. For mixed use on road and light trails, an MTB wheel with a narrow, high pressure slick would be a better choice. They roll about as well as a hybrid wheel with medium tyres and the frame can be made more compact (easier to handle) and shorter (in reach) without suffereing from toe-clip overlap or bodged steering geometry.
Comments such as "If a man's bike fits you, ride a man's bike" may be OK for a tall woman but you are way off the scale of normal mens size. You need shorter cranks, narrower bars, smaller brake levers, all of which can be found on the various WSD style bikes.
Your challenge is to find a small, light, general purpose frame complete with rack and fender fittings for MTb wheels. Start with the Terry Susan B

Bikes: Some bikes. Hell, they're all the same, ain't they?

Whatever you get now, it'll become just one of at least two or three bikes. Trust me.

I'd really consider a bike with drop bars for long distances, too. It's nice to duck down out of the wind when you need to, and you've still got a fairly upright position available when you want it.

Thanks for your response. Is it because 700c tires are too big? It seems that most hybrid bikes use 700c tires based on the ones I'm looking at.

Specifically, it's the wheel diameter that can be pretty big for small riders. The whole frame is made smaller to fit the rider (especially the seat-to-handlebar distance), but that can create compromises, too. You might find it too easy to hit your toes with the front tire on tight turns (not an issue at speed, but something to look out for when maneuvering around the driveway), the seat tube angle gets pretty steep, etc.

The good thing about 700c tires is that they're easier to find than 650c. MichealW mentioned 26" wheels, which would be like 650c wheels except that the tire size would still be easy to find.
