universal phone/whatever mount

Is there a sorta of adjustable/universal bar mount for cell phones and such? I'd like to keep my blackberry up close and personal, mostly for music, but also incase I'm out but expecting a semi important call. If its in the frame bag, I don't hear it and would be kinda hard to use with wired 'phones/buds.

you should not listen to music while riding, listen for cars, birds, deer, jackalopes, bigfoots coll stuff like that. jersey pockets are a great place for phones.

whats important is when I'm out on my bike, I'd like to have my phone withn ear shot incase something happens to my wife & kids when they are on their way home (as was the case yesterday, but nothing happened). Or if I do get a call, I can just look down next to my speedo and see who it is so I know if I can ignore it or if I should pick it up just incase it may be a job offer or something I should not answer. Or so I can use it as a GPS. Or so I can have music played with the external speakers or be able to more easily use ear buds.

As for listening for cars, etc. I ride 95% bike path. I keep my eyes peeled on all sides, but I rarely ever need to look behind me cause Im the one usually doing all the passing.

I'm hoping there is a universal/adjustable mount similar to the one my speedo uses. Kinda like the BB227 on the akron site, however I need it to be adjustable. I currently have a pearl, but I may upgrade in the near future.

Looks like the SM227 may be the one Im after. Thanx for the link!

Here's what it looks like on the bike.

Another vote for the jersey pocket. Apart from anything else, it's less vulnerable if you or the bike get into an accident.

+1 Is there a modern phone that doesn't have vibrate option?

Its like I said, I want it out to where I can see it. Where I can just glance down. Thanx for the replies though. If I take a tumble and the phone breaks, then thats my problem. But really, I've seen the prices of those computers ppl buys and straps to the handlebars and my phone is a fraction of that price. And I'm not too worried bout taking a tumble. I've gotten much better at riding since the last fall and if I get really agressive, I'll put in it the frame bag.

Hi,

RAM-mount.com may have a motorcycle specific model that you could make work...
