Help!
My head is spinning! I have been shopping for a bike for weeks now. I got a job delivering sandwiches on my bike, and my current bike will not cut it. I thought I wanted a road bike, but now I'm not exactly sure. I am looking for something lightweight and fast (yes I know that the speed ultimately on my legs), with good components. I also go riding frequently on long rides, so I'd like something comfortable too. I am thinking a geared bike, as I will be tackling lots of hills. I am looking to spend $400 to $700, preferably the lower end of that range. Can anyone suggest a particular model or even just give your opinion on what type of cycle I should purchase for my job as well as recreational use? Please? I'm going crazy trying to decide! Also, do you think I should go new or used? I've been checking Craigslist forever and haven't seen anything good. I'm getting antsy and just want to hurry up and buy something!
