Is this a good deal?
 

A kid on my street is selling an old fixed gear bike of his (hes almost done putting it together). It was a converted old road bike. It's been spray can painted matte grey. It has a riser bars, aeromax wheels, and mountain bike ourys, everything else is from the original bike (i think). The kid, I believe, steals bikes, so I am not sure if the original bike was stolen or not.

He's trying to get it sold for 200.

No deal. Especially if it's stolen.

Buying a stolen bike only encourages more bike theft. And trust me, it doesn't feel good to lose a bike so someone else can make money off of it. :(

I see your point. Got any other methods of not so expensive ss/fg bikes? BD has the Windsor The Hour for 299 and the Kilo TT for 349 but thats a little higher than I'd like to pay :o

I'd drop a dime on the frocker.
