Left Elbow?
I did a search on "Elbow Hurts" as mine is so bad now I can't lift my water bottle without wincing.
It seems like the majority of posts are in reference to the left elbow, as is mine. It has got me wondering that this problem may be tied to strength of the arm as more people are right handed, the right is stronger and might not suffer as much? I am going to work on the left, slowly, with dumb bells this winter and see if it helps. Living in the northeast, I will have to "shut it down" as far as outside bike riding towards the first snow. Currently, I am on the bike over an hour a day and many weekends I ride 2 to 3 hours at a wack. I found many sugestions and I am gonna give them all a try, Anyone else try the pipe insulation on the bars? I got to find some way to keep going. |
This reads like an old 'joke' about peoples' slow movement toward recumbent-dom:
1. cello bar tape is fine 2. padded/cork bar tape feels better 3. discovers foam handlebar covers 4. pipe insulation - the fat foam kind, with padded tape over the top. 5. foam handlebar covers, with pipe insulation over the top of it. 6. Just get a recumbent. Problem solved! I'm waiting for someone to chime in that if you get a $400 bike fitting, it'll fix your problem. Maybe it will. |
Can you pin point a traumatic cause?
Six weeks ago I launched over the bars and broke the heads on both radial bones. I haven't been able to ride (or work) since. Looks like it will be a couple more weeks. |
